C\u2019est en 2008 que sort son premier roman (PLEINE LUNE, aux \u00e9ditions DRICOT). Son premier succ\u00e8s litt\u00e9raire, il le recueille en 2012, avec SA MAJESTE LEA, un roman qui aborde le th\u00e8me de l\u2019Enfant-Roi, vendu \u00e0 plus de 13000 exemplaires et recommand\u00e9 dans de nombreuses \u00e9coles en Wallonie et \u00e0 Bruxelles. A celui-ci viendront s\u2019ajouter, entre autres, IL N\u2019Y A PLUS DE VIEILLESSE ! (2014), ROSES MORTELLES (2017), LA PEAU DE L\u2019AUTRE (2019), un polar salu\u00e9 par la presse radiophonique et t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9e, et finaliste du grand prix litt\u00e9raire de la SABAM. En 2020 sort LA FORET DES MIROIRS, un roman jeunesse sur la futilit\u00e9 du \u00ab para\u00eetre \u00bb. Tous deux sont en fugue. Lui, pour \u00e9chapper aux griffes d\u2019un dangereux trafiquant de drogue dont il a perdu \u00ab la marchandise \u00bb. Elle, pour se cacher de la police apr\u00e8s une violente altercation avec un homme qui voulait profiter d\u2019elle et qu\u2019elle a laiss\u00e9 pour mort. Une fugue n\u2019est pas forc\u00e9ment une partie de plaisir. Les ados en fuite d\u00e9couvriront une libert\u00e9 nouvelle avec ses moments de joie, mais aussi ses dangers. Y vivent un homme, son \u00e9pouse et leurs deux adolescents qui, tous, souffrent de leur laideur et de leur apathie. \u00c0 la maison, leur unique tr\u00e9sor est une toile repr\u00e9sentant un ange d&#8217;une grande beaut\u00e9.<br>Un jour, les huissiers d\u00e9barquent pour saisir leurs maigres biens&#8230; et le tableau de l&#8217;ange. Aussit\u00f4t, les quatre malheureux courent vainement derri\u00e8re la camionnette qui emporte leur bien le plus pr\u00e9cieux. Quand ils rentrent chez eux, l&#8217;ange repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 sur la toile est l\u00e0. Et ce n\u2019est pas G\u00e9rald, son mari alcoolique, qui apaise les choses. Cette vie, Suzie ne l\u2019aime pas. Alors, contre toute attente, elle d\u00e9cide de changer : elle veut \u00ab essayer la gentillesse \u00bb. Un jour, il re\u00e7oit l\u2019e-mail d\u2019un notaire de Montpellier l\u2019invitant \u00e0 l\u2019ouverture du testament de son oncle Guillaume Faviau. Bien que ce nom lui soit parfaitement inconnu, il se rend dans le Languedoc, o\u00f9 le notaire lui apprend qu\u2019il est l\u2019unique h\u00e9ritier d\u2019une somme avoisinant les 10 millions d\u2019euros. Sa surprise est encore plus grande lorsqu\u2019il s\u2019aper\u00e7oit que sur sa carte d\u2019identit\u00e9, son nom a \u00e9t\u00e9 remplac\u00e9 par celui de Paul Faviau. Qui a falsifi\u00e9 ses papiers ? Comment ? Pourquoi ? Nicolas n\u2019y comprend rien, mais sur le chemin du retour, l\u2019euphorie d\u2019\u00eatre devenu richissime l\u2019emporte sur sa perplexit\u00e9. L\u2019histoire pourrait \u00eatre belle, sauf qu\u2019\u00e0 la porte de son domicile, personne ne le reconna\u00eet. Sa femme et ses deux fils affirment ne l\u2019avoir jamais vu. Pire : un homme, pr\u00e9tendant s\u2019appeler Nicolas Lurquin, a pris sa place. Pour ses coll\u00e8gues et ses amis aussi, il est devenu un parfait \u00e9tranger. Le luxueux internat des Go\u00e9lands se vide. Seuls huit enfants et deux \u00e9ducateurs resteront dans l\u2019\u00e9tablissement situ\u00e9 sur l\u2019\u00eele de Ouedec. Au programme : jeux, balades, comp\u00e9titions sportives, veill\u00e9es. Mais d\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re nuit, des bruits \u00e9tranges et une chanson lugubre r\u00e9sonnent au-dessus des t\u00eates. Deux ados, Sol\u00e8ne et Baptiste, se risquent \u00e0 une exploration nocturne du grenier. Ils n\u2019auraient pas d\u00fb\u2026 Le lendemain matin, une des pensionnaires a disparu.
